Scarborough Real Ale, Cider and Arts Festival

Thursday 20th until Sunday 23rd March 2025 (Sunday subject to beer stock)

ORGANISERS

The Scarborough Real Ale & Cider Festival is organised by the Festival Working Party of the Scarborough Branch fo the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

FESTIVAL STAFF

The festival volunteer staff are all unpaid and have given up their time to ensure you enjoy yours. Please be patient at busy times, abuse will not be tolerated. If anyone is found to be abusing staff or other customers you will be asked to leave.

TOMBOLA

To be run by the beer festival each day in aid of a local charity


CAMRA's nominated charity for 2025 run by Scarborough Cavalier Rotary Club

All donations are welcome and any unused beer tokens can be donated to the charity

DISABLED ACCESS

No. Dating from the 1930's the club does not have a ramp or similar disabled access.
The function room is on the first floor with steps up to it.

TOILETS

There are ample toilet facilities in the building. Please leave them clean and tidy and if there are any problems with the facilities please tell a member of staff.

NO SMOKING

Smoking (includes e-cigarettes) is not allowed within the building. Please use the designated area outside in the paved garden. Customers will be issued with event wristbands to allow re-entry into the festival.

LAST ORDERS

Thursday, Friday & Saturday Last orders will be called 9pm, time will be called at 930pm. We would be grateful for your compliance with these times.

CHILDREN

Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the function room at any time however they may enter the club bar downstairs until 8pm.

DOGS

Dogs are permitted in the function room but must be kept on a lead at all times.

REAL ALE BAR

The bar will be situated in front of the function room bar.

CIDER & PERRY BARS

To the right of the room, next to the stage the Cider bar will be situated.

BAR PRICES

The bar will operate using a beer tokens basis and therefore you will not be able to purchase any drink for cash. Beer tokens are available upon entry and throughout the festival from the reception desk and token desk in £5 and £10 cards. You can refund unspent tokens when leaving or donate to our chosen charity.

Beers Less than 4%ABV:- £3.60 per pint, £1.80 per half, £1.20 per third

Beers 4-4.9% £3.80 per pint, £1.90 per half, £1.30 per third

Beers 5% and over £4.20 per pint £2.10 per half £1.40 per third

Ciders and Perrys:- £4.20 per pint, £2.10 per half, £1.40 per third


GLASSES

Free glasses issued on entry. All glasses are oversized and lined with pint and half pint measures. Half pint glasses will also be available with some lined with third pint measures.

PROOF OF AGE

We are operating a 'Challenge 21' policy, Proof of identity may be required should anybody appear to be under 21. Behaviour during the festival will be monitored closely.

Available free upon entry with full festival information including beer and cider lists.

FESTIVAL FOOD

Within a short walk there are various food outlets including restaurants and takeaways.
