Thursday 12th October until Saturday 14th October 2017. 12 noon till 11pm.

ORGANISERS

The Beer, Cider & Arts Festival is organised by the Festival Committee of the Scarborough Branch fo the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

FESTIVAL STAFF

The festival volunteer staff are all unpaid and have given up their time to ensure you enjoy yours. Please be patient at busy times, abuse will not be tolerated. If anyone is found to be abusing staff or other customers you will be asked to leave.

TOMBOLA

To be run by the beer festival each day from 12-9 along with the Rotary Club and Scarborough Studios for local charities (see below). All donations welcome prior to the event!

DISABLED ACCESS

Yes, no steps at the venue and a disabled toilet will be available on platform 1.

TOILETS

There are no public toilets in the building, but we have provided some toilets outside for your use on platform 1 - Male & Female. Please leave them clean and tidy and if there are any problems with the facilities please tell a member of staff.

NO SMOKING

Smoking (includes e-cigarettes) is not allowed within the building. Please use the designated area outside on platform 1.

LAST ORDERS

Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Last orders will be called 10:45pm, time will be called at 11;00pm. We would be grateful for your compliance with these times.

CHARITY

Our nominated charity for 2017 is the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. All donations are welcome.

CHILDREN

Children are welcomed in the festival until 6pm.

DOGS

Yes, but must be kept on a lead at all times.

REAL ALE BARS

The end room along the back wall will have the bar (Handpumps) to serve 65+ real ales.

CIDER & PERRY BARS

One end of the bar. Look for the signs. We will be showcasing 20.

BAR PRICES

The bar will operate using a beer tokens basis and therefore you will not be able to purchase any beer for cash. Beer tokens are available upon entry and throughout the festival from the reception desk in £5 and £10 cards.. You can refund unspent tokens when leaving or donate to our chosen charity, Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Beers 4.9% ABV or under:- £3 per pint, £1.50 per half, £1.00 per third

Beers over 5% ABV:- £3.20 per pint, £1.60 per half, £1.10 per third

Ciders and Perrys:- £3.60 per pint, £1.80 per half, £1.20 per third

GLASSES

£2 each refundable souvenir glasses. Oversized and lined with pint and half pint measures. Half pint glasses will also be available and lined with third pint measures. Please NOTE there are no bottled beers.

PROOF OF AGE

We are operating a 'Challenge 21' policy, Proof of identity may be required should anybody appear to be under 21. Behaviour during the festival will be monitored closely.

See 'Stalls & Food Available' page. Hot and cold menu available along with vegetarian options. Free bottled water available.

Please check the menu or with staff at the food kiosk if you have intolerance to one of the 14 notifiable allergens.

Notices will be up at the catering stalls. There will be some gluten free beers available!

ENTERTAINMENT

Live music will be held at the venue during all 3 festival days. There will be a list of bands and artists available with approx time slots.
